I look for opportunities to add to my Apple collection and Christmas is always a good one. I will usually find me or two additions I buy for myself and either give them to me directly or will attribute them to the family member who drew my name.
This Christmas I found this goodie. I don’t remember the first time I learned about the Apple logo’d windsock, but thought I’d found one a few years ago, but didn’t. Then in early December I found this one on eBay almost by accident and pulled the trigger with the Buy It Now. I particularly like the more odd Apple logo’d products, like this Windsock.
While I can’t date this windsock it is made by Colores International of Bellevue, Washington. This firm is from the early ’80s and I believe the firm is now operating under Wincraft Colores International in Woodinville, Washington.
The windsock had never been opened and the package was sealed and in great shape after 30 years, so I had a dilemma of whether to open it or not. I thought about this for the week or so it was under the tree and you know I like old Apple products still in their factory sealed packages.
I think you know the answer to that one…
