Steve Jobs 1985 Playboy Interview

Playboy February 1985Clearly, Steve Jobs had a flair for the dramatic. He enjoyed trying to describe the future technology and its application for us. And while he is a bit vague in a few answers in this 1985 Playboy interview, it is still very impressive how his vision is spot on regardless of whether it is as a result of his ability to see the development of technology or because simply “led” us to where he thought things ought to be.

This interview with a young 29 year old Jobs is intriguing and covers a wide range of topics (Early Apple, Macintosh, Life, Money, IBM) and as a SJ fan, this magazine belongs right up there in my Apple/Steve library (I’m loading up pictures of my Apple library books/magazines now and finishing the descriptions or you can click through to see them on my Apple Library Pinterest board.)
